Ｍy name is Jen and I am currently in Tokyo doing an internship in the British Education Office and trying to learn as much as I can about Japan, its language and culture!

Last May I graduated from Oxford　Brookes University (OBU) with a 2:1 "Language for Business" degree with honours. It was a fantastic course that allowed me to combine German and Spanish with Business Studies (where I specialised in International human resource management). It also included 2 work placements; the first was a general administration internship in Valencia, Spain and the second was a human resource work internship near Munich, Germany.

I also took a study abroad semester to the US, where I continued my studies as well as studying in an international context. This is an option for nearly all students and you have the choice of studying in Europe, USA, Canada or Australia.

I am looking forward to spending time in Tokyo visiting the city sights and Temples as well as soaking up the culture. My biggest goal for my visit here will be to learn to read some Japanese Kanji. Wish me luck!
